New Zealand was so much more than I ever expected it to be. God showed out when he created this beautiful country. If you are looking for a trip where all you have to do is pay for the trip, book your flight and pack,then this is the trip for you. Before you arrive your fabulous tour guides Brian and Sally have made all reservations for transportation, motels ,and attractions for your amazing tour. A special treat for me was being a guest for dinner in several homes of friends and family of our tour guides. The delicious meals were served with wonderful Kiwi hospitality.Thankful for the new friendships. Put on your walking shoes and get ready to see sites that you didn't realize even existed. I was in awe of every step of this wonderful journey . The beautiful huge majestic mountains looked like they were touching the heavens. I couldn't get enough of listening and looking at the crystal clear water which was sometimes peaceful and other times so full of force. The amount of water flowing over Huka Falls was breathtaking. There is nothing like Milford Sound, its waterfalls flowing down the high mountain tops into the turquoise water is what paradise must look like. While walking through the beauty of the botanical gardens I saw so many flowers and trees that I have never seen before. The flowers and trees were labeled in Auckland so we could identify them. Learning about the Maori people and their culture we were able to see first hand how proud they are of their heritage. Observing a geyser in action,and seeing boiling mud pools was so cool. This once in a lifetime trip is the most spectacular place I have ever visited. Sally and Brian outdid themselves on making this experience of traveling around their beautiful country special and memorable that I will forever hold close to my heart.

"Monday morning (April 4th, 2016) we returned home from a three week long excursion to New Zealand. We had the best tour guides we could have ever asked for, thanks to Brian and Sally Burgess. We made some new friends and bonded with old friends. We saw the most amazing beaches that we had ever seen, seals resting on rocks, waterfalls, crystal clear water in rivers, lakes and seas. We had the best pastries in the world along with long black and flat white coffee. We walked a lot of miles and drove more miles all through the North and South Islands. My favorite place was Milford Sound. Pictures can’t do it justice and I get emotional trying to describe the incredible sight of massive mountains and waterfalls. It was overwhelming!!"

"On March 12 - April 3, 2016, I attended a driving tour of New Zealand with Brian and Sally Burgess of Burgess Travel NZ. I'd like to start by saying how much I appreciate the time and effort put into arranging and coordinating the trip by Brian and Sally Burgess. We flew into Auckland, NZ, drove down the North Island, crossed over to the South Island, then flew out of Queensland.
The trip was absolutely wonderful and spectacular. Brian and Sally arranged for us to have several dinners with friends of theirs and family members. It was wonderful meeting them and interacting with them on such a personal level. There were a total of 8 of us traveling in a 12 passenger van. Because of the small size of our group, we were able to stop when we wanted to take photos, enjoy local cuisine, and decide on other activities that would have been difficult to coordinate with a much larger group.
Brian and Sally have a keen sense of New Zealand, its population, and history. They made the country "come alive" as we traveled through it. This was definitely a TRIP OF A LIFETIME and I would recommend it to anyone that is interested in visiting New Zealand.
